A physiatrist and specialist in the field of pain management, Dr. Prasad is a part of the team of professionals at Arkansas Spine and Pain Center of Excellence. He then relocated to the United States, performing his internship in internal medicine and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York Medical College in 2003 and 2006, respectively.

Krishnappa Prasad, MD, attended Bangalore Medical College in India, and received his combined Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 1993. Following his relocation to the United States, he conducted his internal medicine internship (2002 – 2003), as well as his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation (2003 – 2006) at The New York Medical College in New York. In addition, Dr. Prasad received board certification in physical medicine and rehabilitation through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). He remains a member in good standing of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
